Just A Sprinkle...
Ok, sorry, commenting again, because my last comment was freakishly long and I thought I’d tried to give my opinion without being so long winded, of course if you already read my previous comment, sorry for all that blabbering, if you haven’t… please don’t, it’s horribly long, and once I did some more thinking, I wanted to say something different anyhow…I think many Obama followers, as well as, McCain followers are guilty of being somewhat slanderous and judgmental towards the other candidate. In some ways, it’s nice to see that we live among people who really fight for what they believe in (whether they’re right or wrong), however I think we would be so much effective if we spoke to people, even if they have extremely different views, with respect, and maturely explain why we are voting for the candidate we’re voting for, instead of yelling, ranting, and cursing about the other candidate. I think most of us are familiar with the saying, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t speak at all”, and in some ways, I think if we tried to speak knowledgeable and passionately about ONLY the candidate we like, we’d have a better change of persuading others to perhaps support what we support, or at least we’d help lower the number of arguments that are bound to occur whenever you insult the opposing candidate. For instance, if someone says they support Obama and then follow by petty name calling of McCain and or Palin, I just stopped listening to them right then. If they’re not mature enough to think of other ways to convey their views, besides attacking the opposing force in a judgmental and childish way, then their opinion can’t be worth much, and is most likely not that objective either. And since I used Obama supporters as an example, might I say that goes for McCain supports that immaturely attack Obama/supporters as well. No matter how much you may not agree or like another’s views and beliefs, if we all act and speak maturely and with respect, we could cut down on a lot of the horrific arguments and slander that happens due to political disagreements. Ok that was still really long, so sorry! I’m bad at making things short I suppose… Thanks though, for your comment and sweet compliment! I have tried modeling a bit, but I don't think it's really for me, so I don't pursue it anymore. ;)xoxo,S-C
